Chief Justice Syed Mahmood Hossain to decide court closure by March 26, sitting with judges of both the Supreme Court departments.
Attorney General Mahbubey Alam told the media after a meeting with the Chief Justice on Sunday (March 22).
Attorney General, the Chief Justice will sit with other judges to decide on the closure of the court. That could be before March 25th. He will also look at what other companies in the state do in the meantime.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmood Hossain has already ordered the bail hearing of the accused in the subordinate courts of the Corona virus and not to appear in the court of the prisoners during the proceedings of the case and to suspend the proceedings if necessary.
However, no decision has been made as to whether the Supreme Court has vacation vacations. Chief Justice Syed Mahmood Hossain said that all the judges will decide whether the country’s courts will remain closed after the inauguration of the plantation program next to the Supreme Court on March 5 at noon.
At that time, he said, ‘We are aware of the Corona virus. We will all sit down and decide what to do with it. Now the court is closed. We’ll all sit down once before opening. We must also take care not to harm ordinary people and judges. Definitely, we are taking into account everything. “
Regarding the lower court, the Chief Justice said the lower court is also under the Supreme Court. So, we will decide. Because thousands of millions of judges have to be kept in mind. In this way, if the court is completely closed, people’s savings can increase. Because many important issues come to court. So, I will sit down and decide.
It should be noted that the vacation period in the Supreme Court started last Sunday. Will continue till March 26.
