Satkhira District Bar Association Election-2020

Submitted Nomination Papers for Election on 19th March 2020 at Lawyers Association elections on March 19. Candidates submitted the nomination papers on Sunday on the occasion of huge enthusiasm. According to Election Commission sources, a draft voter list has been published at 2 pm on the occasion of the election of Satkhira Lawyers Association on February 27. An objection was filed against the draft voter list from February 2 to March 8 from 2 pm to 3 pm. On March 2 (during office), the submission of the objection to the Executive Council against the decision of the Election Commission regarding the voter list, the final voter list was published at 5 pm on March 7, nomination papers were provided from 2 pm to 3 pm on March 3. Sunday (March 7) was the last time for filing nominations from 2pm to 5pm. The nomination papers for the nomination papers and the list of primary candidates have been published on that afternoon. If no nomination papers have been received from 2pm to 5pm today, objections will be filed and resolved against the Chief Election Commissioner. If the objection is not accepted by the Election Commission during the office tomorrow, an appeal will be filed and resolved against the Executive Council (Election Tribunal). The withdrawal of nomination papers will be held from 8am to 2pm on March 7, the final candidate list will be published at 8 pm on March 12 and the interim voting will be held on March 8 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Meanwhile, five people have filed nomination papers for the post of president on Sunday. They are the former president of the Satkhira Lawyers Association, Adv Abdul Majid-2, former president Adv  M. Shah Alam and Adv Latif. Two people in the post of Vice-President, Adv Syed Ekhalesar Ali Bachchu and Adv Ghulam Mostafa-2. Three nominations have been submitted for the post of general secretary. Among these, former general secretary of the Satkhira Lawyers Association, Adv Yunus Ali-1, AdvTojammel Hossain Tojam, Adv Rezwan Ullah Green. 3 of the joint secretary, Adv Mostafa Zaman, Adv Sheikh Mostafizur Rahman Shahnawaz and Adv Saidur Rahman. Treasurer 2, Adv Akbar Ali and Adv. Z, M Abdullah Mamun. 3 in the post of Assistant Secretary (Library Affairs), Adv Azibar Rahman, Adv Sirajul Islam 1 & Adv. Humayun Kabir. 3 in the post of Assistant Secretary (Sports and Cultural Affairs), Adv Toha Kamal Uddin Diamond, Adv Salahuddin (2) and Adv Sheikh Humayun Kabir One  has been elected unopposed as the secretary (female affairs). Yasmin Sultana. Seven candidates have collected their nominations for the post of Executive Member Adv Saiduzzaman, Adv Saiduzzaman Zico, Adv Tariq Iqbal Apu, Adv Nazrul Islam, Adv Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, Adv  Shahana Imrose and Adv  Shihab Masud Sachu.
